Why some people get instant replies

...While you are being ghosted!

Hey there,

Last week, we talked about how to write emails that actually get responses.

But here’s the thing: Even the best email won’t work if your positioning isn’t clear.

People don’t reply to strangers.

And if they don’t immediately understand what you do or why it matters to them, they won’t care.

If your outreach is falling flat, sending more emails won’t help.

Fixing your positioning and building a brand will help overcome this problem.

Let’s break it down.

Most People Struggle to Stand Out!

And many people think they have a lead generation problem.

In reality, they have a positioning problem.

Here’s your mistake: Trying to Appeal to Everyone

If your pitch sounds like this:
❌ "We help businesses with automation." (Too broad)
❌ "We offer AI-driven marketing solutions." (Vague and forgettable)

Then most likely your pitch will not work!

Because nobody knows if they should work with you and they don’t remembers what you do.

Ultimately you attract low-quality leads because your messaging isn’t clear.

Here’s what you should do: Get Hyper-Specific

✅ "We help BFSI companies modernize legacy systems and cut processing time by 40%." (Industry-specific & outcome-driven)
✅ "We help eCommerce brands increase ROAS by 3x using AI-powered ad targeting." (Clear value proposition)

Your positioning should answer three questions immediately:

  1. Who you help (Industry, Business size)

  2. What problem you solve (Pain points, Challenges)

  3. Why they should care (What results you drive)

The clearer your messaging, the easier it is for the right people to say “That’s exactly what I need!”

Try these 3 Steps to Clarify Your Positioning

Fixing your positioning isn’t about making it sound fancy, it’s about making it clear.

When your audience instantly understands what you do and why it matters, everything else becomes easier.

Here’s how to do it in 3 steps.

Step 1: Identify Your Best Clients

Think about the customers you’ve had the most success with.

  • What industry are they in?

  • What specific problems do they face?

  • What results have you helped them achieve?

Chances are, your best future clients will look a lot like your best past clients.

Step 2: Define Your "One Thing"

If someone asked, “What do you do?” and you only had 10 seconds to answer, what would you say?

It should be short, clear, and focused on your audience’s problems.

Example:
❌ "We provide data analytics solutions." (Too vague)
✅ "We help retail brands turn raw data into revenue-driving insights in under 30 days." (Specific and outcome-driven)

Step 3: Focus on Outcomes, Not Services

Your audience doesn’t care about what you do, they care about what you can do for them.

Frame your positioning around the results you deliver.

The next challenge is making sure people actually recognize and trust you before you reach out.

Positioning Alone Isn’t Enough—You Need Personal Branding

With a strong personal brand, your outreach feels more natural, making replies come faster, because you’re no longer just another name in their inbox.

Post, Engage, and Be Human

You don’t need to be a thought leader.

You just need to show up and share your insights.

1️⃣ Post about real experiences, not just expertise
People engage with stories, struggles, and lessons, not corporate fluff.

Instead of “The future of AI in marketing,” try “How I automated 50% of my cold outreach—and what I learned.”

2️⃣ Comment on industry conversations
Engagement builds visibility.

When your name keeps showing up in relevant discussions, people take notice.

Spend 10 minutes a day commenting on posts from ideal clients or industry leaders.

A thoughtful comment is often more valuable than a post.

3️⃣ Keep your content easy to read and valuable
If your posts feel like a research paper, people will scroll past.

Write how you talk. Keep it casual, engaging, and easy to digest.

Positioning + Branding = Inbound Leads & Better Conversations

When you combine clear positioning with a strong personal brand, three things happen:

✅ Your outreach becomes warmer
People recognize your name, making responses more likely.

✅ Your inbound leads increase
People who resonate with your content will start reaching out to you.

✅ Your sales process becomes easier
You attract clients who already understand your value.

Your best outreach doesn’t start in the inbox, it starts with how you position yourself.

People don’t ignore emails, they ignore confusion.

When your positioning is clear and your brand is strong, outreach stops feeling like a numbers game and starts feeling like a natural conversation.

Make it easy for the right people to find you, trust you, and say yes.

Until next time,
