Want more email clicks?

...Try adding no links at all!

When we decided to revamp this newsletter after what felt like ages, my content head pitched something called a “zero-click content.”

I’ll be honest—I shrugged and said, “If it works, go ahead.”

And… it does work. Really well.

Here’s what I did:

I gave away everything in the email itself.
👉 The insights
👉 The framework
👉 The templates
👉 The value

No “Read more.”
No “Click here for the full version.”
Not even a sneaky link at the bottom.

Just one simple promise: You’ll get full value, right here. Inside this email.

The only links?

To my LinkedIn profile and RevvGrowth’s YouTube channel. That’s it.

And the results?
🔥 People clicked anyway.
🔥 They visited my LinkedIn.
🔥 They checked out the newsletter page.
🔥 They even landed on our YouTube channel.

Without me asking.

Here’s the kicker: A good click-through rate (CTR) for newsletters typically falls between 2% and 5%.

Most weeks, we’re consistently hitting above 2%, and this format played a big role.

Wait, what’s a zero-click content?

It’s simple:

You give your readers the full value of the content right inside the newsletter.

No redirects. Just pure, bite-sized brilliance in the inbox.

At first, it felt counterintuitive.

Aren’t we supposed to drive traffic to our site?

But here’s why it worked for us—and why you should try it too:

Why giving everything away got better results?

  • Algorithms love it.

Social and email platforms want users to stay within their ecosystem.

So when your content doesn’t push people away with links, it gets better reach and engagement.

  • Readers love it more.

When you deliver value upfront—no strings, no scroll fatigue, no tricks—they respect you more. And that builds long-term trust.

  • It flips the funnel.

When you don’t push for clicks, you invite curiosity.

People choose to explore more because they want to. Not because you asked them to.

Steal this format: The zero-click method that works everywhere

Here’s the exact Zero-Click Content Formula I used:

It works across newsletters, LinkedIn, Instagram, X—wherever your audience hangs out.

Step 1: Hook with context or emotion

Start with a story, insight, or pain point.

Something human and relatable that grabs attention.

Step 2: Deliver the full value upfront

No teasing. Share the core insight, tip, or framework right there.

Make it easy to consume and immediately useful.

Step 3: Add a bite-sized template, tip, or takeaway

Give them something they can apply right now.

A cheat sheet, a mini framework, a short example, or a step-by-step list.

Step 4: Soft CTA (only if it adds value)

No push. Just a quiet nudge—like “If you liked this, I share more on LinkedIn or YouTube.”

Just: “Here’s something useful. Hope it helps.”

And when it actually helps? People remember. People return.

Lead With Value. Let the Clicks Follow

I used to think content needed a destination.

Now I think it just needs intention.

When you lead with value, the rest takes care of itself.

Clicks? They’ll come. But trust? That’s earned.

So if you're feeling stuck on newsletter ideas or social content… try going zero-click.

Just once.

You might be surprised at how far not asking for a click can take you.

Until next time,

Karthick Raajha.
